à décor au centre d'une frise de sept enfants jouant ensemble en camaïeu bleu dans une rosace polylobée à fond ocre niellé à rinceaux et motifs de treillage noir, larges lambrequins fleuris et feuillagés rayonnant en bleu et rouge sur l'aile et la chute

Very minor and unsignificant chips to glaze on the rim.
Otherwise very good condition.

Catalogue Note
Le décor est emprunté à une gravure d'après Claudine Bouzonnet-Stella (1641 - 1697) Le bâtonnet et la charrue, extraite de la suite des Jeux et Plaisirs de l'Enfance, vers 1647. Un plat à décor similaire provenant de l'ancienne collection Le Breton est conservé au musée de Rouen et reproduit dans le catalogue de l'exposition Peinture et sculpture de Faïence, Rouen XVIIIe siècle, 1999, n° 65, p. 155.
Notre plat était qualifié en 1919 de très belle pièce dans le catalogue de la vente Papillon.
