The complete portfolio, comprising 15 lithographs, each signed in pencil and numbered 15/90, on wove paper, published by Curt Valentin, New York, 1946, with full margins, in good condition except the paper tone darkened throughout, a few plates with creases at the sheet edges, Weather-Vane with a small triangular paper loss at the lower left sheet edge, contained in the original linen-covered boards (worn, broken at the edges) (15 prints)
Condition
The sheets are darkened throughout. The title page and "Self-Portrait" each have a 1/2 inch diagonal crease across the lower left sheet corner. "Weather-Vane" with a small triangular paper loss at the lower left sheet edge. "The Fall of Man" with a 7-inch vertical crease along the right sheet edge. The linen-covered boards are broken or splitting at the edges and there is overall wear and discoloration.
