Condition

All photographs are in generally very good to excellent condition. 'Point Lobos, Tide Pool, 1972' - the photographer's credit stamp, titled, numbered '3802,' and authenticated by the photographer's widow, Edna Bullock, on the reverse. There is slight wear at the edges and the corners are very lightly bumped. In raking light the following are visible: a one-inch crease and a pinpoint-sized indentation in the lower left quadrant; a raised area in the center of the image; and a 1/4-inch soft handling crease in the upper right corner. None of these affects the image. 'The Pilings, 1958' - mounted, signed and dated by the photographer in pencil on the mount. There is fading and discoloration on both the bottom and left edges of print. There is silvering at the periphery. There is a 2-inch vertical scratch in the upper left corner, which appears to be in the negative. In raking light, there is a 1/4-inch area of discoloration visible on the bottom edge towards the right corner, which does not disturb the emulsion. 'Stark Tree, 1956' - mounted, signed by the photographer in pencil on the mount, titled, numbered '483,' and dated by the photographer's widow, Edna Bullock, in pencil on the reverse. The upper left corner is bumped. There is a 1/8-inch nick in the center of the top edge, which breaks the emulsion. There are spots visible along the edges. There is a pinpoint-sized spot in the upper right quadrant which does not appear to disturb the emulsion. In raking light, the following are visible: silvering at the periphery and fingerprint smudges in the upper left corner and center of bottom edge. 'Woman's Hands, 1956' - The photographer's credit stamp, titled, dated, numbered '929,' and authenticated by the photographer's widow, Edna Bullock, in pencil on the reverse. Three white pinpoint specks are visible. 'Woman and Dog in Forest, 1953' - mounted, a 'Wynn Bullock, A Portfolio 1951-1973' credit/information stamp titled, dated, and numbered '11' and '3' in an unidentified hand in ink, on the reverse. In raking light, the following are visible: light silvering in the dark areas in and a pinpoint indentation which does not affect the image. 'Big Sur, California, n.d.' - mounted, signed by the photographer in pencil on the mount, titled and numbered by him in ink and the photographer's studio stamp, on the reverse. There are 2 minor nicks at the top edge, light scratches in the upper left quadrant, and silvering in the dark areas. In raking light, the following are visible: a 1/4-inch scratch near the mountains; and a pinpoint indentation in the lower left quadrant, that breaks the emulsion.
