Catalogue Note
Ce tirage provient de la collection Vittorio Vidali (1900 - 1983), l'intime compagnon de Tina Modotti pendant les 15 dernières années de sa vie. La famille Vidali, qui se vit confier les négatifs de Modotti après sa mort, donna au photographe Manual Álvarez Bravo, qui avait connu Modotti, une occasion de tirer des épreuves de quelques-uns de ces négatifs dans les années 1970. Expérimentant les papiers et techniques, Bravo tira quelques rares épreuves posthumes avant que les négatifs ne soient donnés au Museo del la Fotografia in Pachuca, Mexico en 1979.
