This photograph, on cool-white, semi-glossy, double-weight paper, is in generally excellent condition. The corners are lightly bumped. There is a small circular area of discoloration in the lower right quadrant. When examined in raking light there are two small soft crescent-shaped handling creases, measuring less than one inch, in upper portion of the print. There is light soiling on the reverse. According to Henry Wessel, he signed prints 'Henry Wessel, Jr.' through 1979; in 1980, he dropped the 'Jr.' from his signature. Although this photograph was purchased around 1983, it is likely that it was made prior to 1980, because of the signature.
