This platinum print, with a wide range of soft grey tones and warm highlights, is in generally very good condition. The surface of the print is lightly rubbed, and there is very minor age-darkening along the top of the left edge. Original deposits of graphite retouching are visible in the wall, the sitter's dress, and at the top right corner. The edges and corners are rubbed and have small losses. The reverse has minor surface soiling and two pieces of archival tissue adhered to the top edge. The photograph is numbered '002375' in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse.
