Catalogue Note

Margaret 'Peggy' Rodakiewicz (née Bok), was introduced to Georgia O'Keeffe by David McAlpin in 1933, and the two women became good friends.  Rodakiewicz dated McAlpin for a short period of time, and later married the avant-garde filmmaker Henwar Rodakiewicz, whom she met in New Mexico while visiting O'Keeffe at Ghost Ranch.
