Description

  • James Welling
  • Untitled, 1981
Triptych of selenium-toned silver prints. Framed individually. Each with Galerie Nelson and Bonakdar Jancou gallery labels on reverse of frame.

Condition

Dark selenium-tones prints made on a lightly textured paper. The paper, while drying during the development process, acquired an extremely light ripple overall which, if anything, adds to the textural appeal of the whole. Each print is affixed to its window mount along the upper edge. The mount of the centre print is stamped 'James Welling 1981' on the reverse. Overall excellent condition.
