August Sander (1876-1964)

Vintage silver print, on original mount. The photographer's blindstamp at the lower left of the print. Signed and dated 'Köln 1925' in pencil on the mount. The mount also inscribed with the sitter's name in pencil and later annotated 'Komponist' by Gunther Sander at lower left.

The print is in excellent condition. The print is covered by a thin paper affixed to the reverse of the mount. There is a protective transparent sheet covering the recto which is glued to the reverse of the mount along one edge.
