Catalogue Note

Jan Wenzel uses a photobooth to make his pictures. Since the objects he wants to photograph don't fit into the booth, he saws them into pieces that can. He changes the entire décor in the twenty-eight seconds before the next flash. The present composition (one of his largest) is one that he liked so well that he taped it to his photobooth, as proved by illustrations in his book Fotofix (referenced below) at pp. 16, 24, 34, 42, 60, 76, 82 & 92.
