"The following condition report has been provided by Henry Gentle, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's.
The oak panel is in a good, flat condition with no cracks or deformations. Apart from one or two minor discoloured retouchings and a slightly discoloured varnish the painting is in good condition.
Dark wood and gilt frame-good condition."
