Canvas relined. Quite a bit of mold has grown on the verso of the canvas and should probably be addressed. The painting is under a dirty unevenly applied varnish, which has yellowed in some places, most noticeably in the sky. Ultraviolet reveals retouches here and there. There may be more extensive restoration that the varnish renders very difficult to read under ultraviolet. The painting would benefit from a clean. In a carved and giltwood frame with nicks and small chips to gliding.
