Condition
The colours in the paintings are less saturated than the catalogue illustrations suggest. Both single bevelled panels are flat and stable and offered unframed. The beautiful paint surfaces are secure and still present a lively impasto. In both paintings scattered imactive worm holes are present., as visible in the catalogue. In the left painting a crack in the panel is present, as visible in the catalogue. Some retouching has occurred along the crack. Some further localised retouchings flouresce under UV light.
