Condition
The catalogue illustration is representative. The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is dirty and under a discoloured varnish. Small scattered paint losses are present. Old stretcher marks are visible running horizontally along the lower centre. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals scattered retouchings and strenghtenings, particularly to the old stretcher mark. The painting is offered in a wooden painted gold frame.
