Condition
The upper painting is less red than the catalogue illustartion suggests whereas the lower image is representative. Both relined canvases are offered in carved wood frames in good condition. To the naked eye both display minor scattered paint losses and are under a yellowed varnish. No major damages are present and the dynamism of the impasto remains. Inspection under UV light displays scattered retouchings. Both attractive paintings are in good overall condition.
