The illustration is representative. The panel is held in a worn cassetta frame with old inactive worm holes and losses, as visible in the illustration. In the upper section some punchwork remains but the paint surface is abraded and some losses are apparent. In the lower section there are some quite extensive losses in the gold and discoloured retouchings. The punchwork has worn somewhat. Inspection under UV light reveals quite extensive retouchings throughout.
