Camillo Procaccini

The colours are slightly warmer than in the catalogue illustration. The canvas has been relined. There is a small patch to the reverse of the relining centre left which corresponds to a small restoration to the left of Saint Catherine's neck. The paint surface is secure and a little dirty. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered but non-obtrusive retouchings. Offered in an elaborate carved gilt wood frame with some minor damages.
