Condition

The support consists of two horizontal panels secured by a grid of battens. The paint surface is peeling and tenting in some areas. There is also paint loss along the panel joins and along a horizontal crack along the lower edge. The paint is under a dirty discoloured varnish. The varnish prevents thorough inspection under UV light although some more recnt retouchings do flouresce. Offered in a wood and plaster frame with scattered damages.
