Anonymous sale, Vienna, Dorotheum, 21 September 1971 (as Vinckboons), for 40,000 Shillings.

Condition

The panel is cradled and bevelled. The paint surface which is in good condition is generally secure with some paint losses at the edges caused by frame abrasion. Scattered retouchings are visible throughout. However, the thick old varnish prevents satisfactory examination under UV light. Offered in a wooden frame with painted detail.
