Condition
Both canvases are relined. The paint surfaces are secure although the cracquelure is quite pronounced in certain areas. There are some discoloured old retouchings visible to the naked eye on both paintings. Inspection under UV light confirms these retouchings and other scattered retouchings flouresce, for example in the sky, but the varnish impedes satisfactory analysis. Offered in painted wooden frames in fair condition.
