Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is generally secure but has been somewhat abraded in areas and subsequently retouched. The varnish prevents satisfactory inspection under UV light and only the most recent retouchings flouresce. Further scattered retouchings are visible to the naked eye. Offered in a painted wood and plaster frame in fairly good condition with some minor losses.
