Anonymous sale, ('Property from a Private Collection'), London, Sotheby's, 7 December 2004, lot 424, for £3,600;
Thence by descent to the present owner.

Condition

The panels are flat, stable and uncradled. There is a vertical split to the centre of the panel with Saint Mark and this is visible on the front of the panel. The paint surfaces are under dirty varnish. There are minor scattered paint losses, restorations and retouchings and there are paint losses and chips to the integral gilt frames. Offered in modern, glass-fronted wooden casings.
