Respectable overall condition.
The painting has most certainly received a cleaning, a bit harsh, showing the brown primer in the background.
Some small damages and paint losses as seen in the catalogue illustration.
Horizontal canvas seam is visible on 40 cm from the lower part.
Under ultraviolet light:
Under a green varnish, slightly cleaned in the flesh and drapery.
A restoration in David right arm in the lower left corner.
