The complete portfolio, 1950, comprising 63 lithographs, 34 printed in colours, signed in ink on the justification, numbered 264 of 300, published by E. Tériade, Les Editions Verve, Paris, 1950, on Arches wove paper, with full margins, in good condition apart from pale scattered foxing throughout, remains of clear tape on some sheet edges verso, pale light-staining, pale paper discoloration at the sheet edges, contained within the original paper-covered boards and linen and paper-covered slipcase (slightly soiled, pale foxing and splitting at the edges)

Condition

The portfolio is in good condition as catalogued and the colors are generally strong. Pale scattered foxing appears throughout the pages and is consistent but generally faint in color. A few pages have clear plastic tape at the sheet edges, and all sheet edges have slightly discolored over time. Pale light-stain has slightly darkened the paper tone. The portoflio case has light foxing along the linen binding and slight soiling on the paper covers. The edges are splitting c. 2 1/2 inches.
