Etching, 1867, an impression of the extremely rare first state of two of this subject (Delteil records two or three impressions in this state), on thin laid paper, with wide margins, light-staining, a horizontal and vertical crease through image where previously folded, overall minor foxing and handling marks, paper discoloration and other small defects along edges of sheet, foxing and uneven staining verso

Condition

The most notable defect is the horizontal and vertical creases, the sheet is quite grubby. There are two small paper hinges at upper tips recto and further creases and foxing mostly visble verso
