- view of constantinople from the asian side
- Pen and black ink and grey and blue wash, over black chalk, on three joined sheets of paper;
inscribed in black ink on lower border: VEDUTA DI COSTANTINOPOLI VERSO LEVANTE, PRESA DALLA COSTA D'ASIA NELL' ANNO 1750.
Condition
Apparently cut at right edge: right framing line and border on seperate strip of paper pasted to surface. Some minor brown stains at edges of margins, paper very slightly discoloured in places but overall condition very good and fresh. Sold in modern wooden painted frame.
