Condition
The canvas has been relined but is begining to lose its tautness. The paint surface is secure and retains much of its impasto. Mild stretcher marks are visible along the edges of the canvas.A surface scratch is present centre right, as seen in the catalogue image. The yellowed varnish impedes satisfactory inspection under UV light but some retouchings do flouresce. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame.
