- The madonna reading, the angel Gabriel approaching from the sky
- oil on canvas, in a carved gilt wood frame
Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is under a discoloured varnish. There are some small patches of discoloured restoration. There is a E-shaped scratch lower centre. Inspection under UV light reveals some further areas of strengthening. Offered in a carved and guilt wood frame with some minor knocks but structurally sound.
