Catalogue Note

Very detailed navigation chart of the northern part of Bahrain with pilotage instructions for entering the harbour. The chart was based on the survey of Bahrain Harbour carried out by Whish in 1859, and then extensively revised from the surveys of Chapman (and others) serving on the Royal Navy schooner Constance, in the years 1872-1874.
