Catalogue Note

a wide-margined, uncut copy of this rare production by Buchoz. His botanical works are numerous, and he often used the same plates in more than one book, causing the Cleveland Herbal to refer to his output as "a bibliographical nightmare". The current work appears rare, and is not recorded in any of the standard bibliographies apart from Pritzel.
