Condition
The painting and canvas are in good condition. The canvas has a clear and taut surface.
Examination using ultraviolet light gives no indication of retouching and the paint layers are intact.
The colours in the catalogue illustration are too reddish in general, and skin tone of the babies is more beige in reality.
