Description

each mask rendered with bulging eyes beneath impressive brows, the thick mane finely decorated with striations and swept back behind curved horns, a loose ring suspended from a hook issuing from the snout

Condition

The pair of masks and loose rings are in good overall condition with the exception of light pitting and scratching to the surface of the rings and minor nicks to the extremities of the masks. It is probable that the masks have been coated in a wax or varnish to resist tarnish to the silver on the front face.
