Description
heavily cast with an octagonal tubular base surmounted by a bulbous mid-section before gently tapering into a flat closed end, two holes on opposite sides for attachment

Condition
The finial is in overall very good condition. The exterior surface has possibly been covered with some form of laquer or wax to prevent oxidation. Some small areas have been left out and are patinated to a dark grey colour. The surface shows very light overall wear and scratching.
