Description

the ovoid lobed body rising from a short spreading foot to a tall waisted neck with everted rim, set at either side of the shoulder and lower body with a pair of lug handles, covered overall with an ivory-white glaze

Condition

With the exception of: a 15mm. hairline firing line to the footring; a 35mm. wide hairline crescent-shaped bruise and associated 20mm., hairline crack to the foot and lower body; a hairline luting line encircling approximately a third of the shoulder; short hairline luting lines around the edges of the handles; a tiny and shallow rim chip; very light glaze scratches and minor firing and glaze imperfections: the bottle is in very good overall condition.
