Description

each of circular form and decorated with a central, slightly convex glass 'eye' beaded disc enclosed by cast bronze ring covered with a thin sheet gold and composed of three fluted bands, the back with thick malachite encrustation

Condition

One fittings with a horizontal crack running through the metal on both sides of the glass centre. The glass eye beaded disc with some areas of loss and areas which have possibly been filled in. The gold-foiled band with some pitting. The other fitting with similar pitting and loss to the gold-foiled band. The glass eye beaded disc also with some areas of loss. The glass a deep blue and turquoise green colour.
