Condition
STRUCTURE
The canvas has been relined.
PAINT SURFACE
There are traces of craquelure to the paint surface and some surface dirt, also traces of an uneven varnish.
ULTRAVIOLET
UV light reveals a patch of retouching to the upper left corner and some infilling to craquelure below the vessel, lower left.
FRAME
Held in a plaster gilt frame in fair condition.
