STRUCTURE The panel is unbowed but has been extended to the right hand side. PAINT SURFACE The paint surface is dirty with traces of a craquelure pattern typical of a work of this age. ULTRAVIOLET UV light reveals retouching to the craquelure in the sea, to frame abrasions and to the join in the panel. FRAME Unframed
