Condition
STRUCTURE
The boards are both in good original condition.
PAINT SURFACE
Both paintings appear to be in good condition, there is a small area of retouching to the corner in the upper right of one of the pair and there is a tiny fleck of dirt on both pictures.
ULTRAVIOLET
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals no significant retouching or alterations to the paint surface of either picture.
FRAME
Both held in carved and gilded frames with mouldings.
