- dial signed Cartier, case numbered with French assay mark and indistinct maker's marks, fitted case by Cartier London.
- length approximately 160mm,
The rectangular dial applied with Roman numerals within a millegrain border of single-cut diamonds and a rose-cut diamond winding crown, to a black enamel clasp, inscribed to the reverse with a facsimile signature, Elizabeth 1924,
Condition
Stamped with French assay marks for platinum to watch case, and marks for gold to clasp. Numbered 24505, 14308 to reverse of case and 96 to clasp. Manual movement not running at time of cataloguing, please not that Sotheby's does not guarantee future working condition of watches. Face with minor chips to lower edge and left hand corner. Diamonds bright and lively throughout. Signs of normal wear to case and enamel, scratches consistent with age and wear. Unusual clasp opening. Attractive watch, In good condition.
