Centering a sugarloaf cabochon sapphire weighing approximately 6.30 carats, framed by 44 small round sapphires, mounted in gold, size 5½.

Condition

Please refer to AGL report no. CS39983 stating that the sapphire weighing approximately 6.30 carats is of Kashmir origin; no gemological evidence of heat enhancement present, and by GIA report no. 1102026939 stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin; no indications of heating. Of medium, slightly violetish-blue hue, even colour distribution. One small feather near girdle. Minute abrasions. Remaining sapphires well matched in colour, blue hue, medium tone, very slightly grayish to moderately strong saturation of colour. Majority of stones with abrasions to crown facets. Typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification. Evidence of re-sizing to shank. In good condition.
