The hinged purse of oval form decorated with an openwork circle pattern, the thumb-piece set with a round cabochon sapphire, the interior lined with suede, weighing approximately 280 dwts., together with a blue silk tassel handle, 6½ by 4¼ inches, signed Bulgari.
Condition
Stamped Bulgari with maker's marks and 750 for 18 karat gold to loop. The round cabochon sapphire measuring approximately 5.4 mm, of medium dark blue hue, strong saturation of colour. Typical inclusions visible under 10x magnification. Very minor scratches consistent with age and wear. In excellent condition.
