Description
The rectangular case of carved rock crystal decorated on the front with a diagonally-striped fabric-like pattern, centering an oval onyx cameo of a cherub and seated female form in classical taste, framed by rose-cut diamonds, the hinges and clasp set calibré-cut onyxs and rose-cut diamonds, probably Boucheron but unsigned, French assay marks, one onyx segment missing. With signed and fitted box.
Condition
Set with 154 rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.00 carat. Stamped with a maker's mark that is probably Boucheron. One smale segment of onyx missing. The box measuring approximately 3 ¾ by 2 7/8 by ½ inches. PLEASE NOTE THIS LOT IS ACCOMPANIED BY A FITTED, SIGNED BOX.
