Description
Designed as alternating rows of delicate lanceolated fringe motifs, set with numerous old mine diamonds, mounted in silver and gold, together with attachment to form a necklace set with small old mine diamonds, length of necklace 16½ inches. With fitted box.
Condition
Estimated colour of diamonds H-J, estimated clarity VS-SI. The total diamond weight of the tiara is approximately 19.95 carats. Some damage to fringe tips, with one slightly bent, one considerably bent at 90 degrees and one missing entirely. Elastic somewhat frayed and the velvet liner is soiled. The necklace attachment set with approximately 0.95 carat of diamonds of comparable quality. In good overall condition.
