BLACK JADEITE, JADEITE AND DIAMOND PENDANT AND A MATCHING RING

The pendant set with a faceted oval black jadeite cabochon, within a stylised frame pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds extending to the surmount, highlighted by an oval jadeite cabochon of emerald green colour and fine translucency, accompanied by a black cord, length approximately 530mm; the matching ring set with a faceted oval black jadeite cabochon, surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds, flanked on each side with a circular jadeite cabochon of emerald green colour, mounted in 18 karat white gold. Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the faceted black jadeite cabochons on both ring and pendant appear pure back to naked eyes, except a few tiny white spots on the back of pendant black jadeite. Upon strong transmitted light, shade of very dark green is observed on the outer circumference. Tiny round jadeite cabochons on ring and oval cabochon on pendant surmount are very translucent, of rich emerald green colour, measuring approximately 2.80mm. Diamonds together weighing approximately 0.95 carat, are probably of G to H colours, VS to SI clarity. Condition: Pendant on rope necklace with a 14 karat white gold clasp. Overall in very good condition.
