Description
Set with a sugar loaf cabochon sapphire weighing 6.64 carats, flanked on each side by a half moon-shaped diamond, the shank decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to AGTA report, the sugarloaf sapphire is natural, of Burmese origin, with no indication of heating. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the sapphire is of medium to medium dark, intense blue colour, with nice glow and clean to naked eyes. Under 10x loupe, there are some natural inclusions and one fingerprint is surface reaching. The two half-moon diamonds together weighing approximately 0.45 carat are probably of G colour, VS clarity. Tiny diamonds on shank are of similar quality.
Condition: Classic prong-set mount with scratches to the shank, otherwise in good condition.
