YELLOW SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND PENDANT / BROOCH AND RUBELLITE AND DIAMOND RING

The pendant centring on a heart-shaped yellow sapphire weighing approximately 4.00 carats, set within a border of conforming shape enhanced by ribbon scrolls decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, brooch fitting; the ring set with a heart-shaped rubellite weighing approximately 8.50 carats, encircled by brilliant-cut diamonds; the diamonds altogether weighing approximately 3.60 carats, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold. Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the rubelite is of medium, intense purple red colour, clean to naked eyes. Under 10x loupe, there are a few very minor inclusions and small nicks along girdle. The yellow sapphire on the brooch/pendant is of about medium, strong orangy yellow colour, generally clean both naked eyes and loupe check. There are very small nicks on girdle, observed only under 10x loupe. The diamonds are probably of H to I colours, VS2 to SI clarity. Condition: The yellow sapphire brooch has pendant loop. Only a few very minor signs of wear, otherwise both are in very good condition.
