Description

The pendant set with a pear-shaped topaz weighing 48.44 carats, bordered by two lines of brilliant-cut diamonds, to a chain spectacle-set with similar stones, mounted in gold and platinum,
Condition
Chain stamped pt 950 for platinum. Pendant stamped 750 for gold. Please note that the topaz is accompanied by GIA report no. 16856293. Total diamond weight on chain approximately 0.80 carat, as gauged in the spectacle setting, overall G-I colour, VS-SI clarity. The pear-shaped topaz weighs 48.44 carats, a dark yellowish Ornage hue, overall clean stone with some minor typical crystal inclusions noticeable with the aid of a 10x lens. Scratches and nicks to stone's surface noticeable under close inspection. Surrounding diamonds stated to weigh approximately 1.90 carats in total. Some signs of wear, scratches and discolouration to metal, consistent with wear. In good condition.
