Centring on a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 5.67 carats, within a surround of cushion-shaped diamonds, decorated with a diamond-set basket extending to the shank, the diamonds together weighing approximately 4.30 carats, mounted in platinum.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to GRS report, the centre sapphire is natural, of Burmese origin, with no indication of thermal treatment, in vivid blue colour, GRS type of "royal blue". Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the sapphire is of intense blue colour, very clean to naked eyes. Under 10x check, there are minor needle inclusions which do not affect the general transparency and brilliance. Cushion-shaped diamonds in the surround are probably of G to H colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Classic ring mount, in mint condition.

Illustrations in the catalogue may not be actual size. Prospective purchasers are reminded that, unless the catalogue description specifically states that a stone is natural, we have assumed that some form of treatment may have been used and that such treatment may not be permanent. Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.
