Centring on an oval aquamarine weighing approximately 42.00 carats, embraced by four dolphins alternated by sphere motifs, pavé-set with coloured sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds, accented by ruby-set eyes, suspending articulated fringes each anchored by a dolphin of similar settings, completed by a matching double link-chain necklace, the coloured sapphires together weighing approximately 20.00 carats, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold, length approximately 415mm.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the oval-shaped aquamarine is medium, sky blue colour, very clean to both naked eyes and 10x check. All small light blue and medium blue sapphires studded in the surround, the dolphins and chains are lively stones and eye clean. Tiny diamonds are probably of J to K colours, VS2 to SI clarity.
Condition: The necklace is well made with desirable heft. Minor signs of wear to the gold mount, otherwise in good condition.
