Modelled as a single flower head, the circular plaques each centring on a cushion-shaped old mine-cut diamond weighing approximately 2.05 and 2.30 carats respectively, surrounded by bird, bat and bee motifs encrusted throughout with rose-cut diamonds, suspending a diamond-set heart, the diamonds altogether weighing approximately 4.00 carats, one diamond deficient, completed by two detachable diamond-set floral chains, loop deficient, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold.

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the two old-cut diamonds set in the middle of two brooches are probably of light yellow colour, VS clarity of lightly abraded facets which consistent to age, very deep cut and slightly large culets. All rose-cut and four brilliant-cut diamonds are of about J to light yellow colour, SI to I clarity. The brooches can be worn hanging down together, connected by two separate diamond-set gold chains. Condition: One rose-cut diamond on a brooch is deficient. Two links on the gold chains are broken, which can possibly fixed by professional service. Signs of wear and abrasions to the metal.
